The State of Indiana does not require an advanced practice license to work as a nurse anesthetist.
Indiana RN license is a part of the compact state licensing agreement. The Nursing Licensure Compact is an agreement between states that allows nurses to have one license but the ability to practice in other states that are part of the agreement. An active RN license and NBCRNA certification is required to practice as a CRNA in the state of Indiana.
